As College Track continues to grow in the Bay Area and beyond, we seek talented individuals who are committed to our mission of helping under-resourced students graduate from high school and succeed in college. 

College Track staff members are a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds in education, youth development, and other nonprofit work, as well as private sector industries.

Academic Affairs Director - Aurora, CO
The Academic Affairs Director is responsible for managing and overseeing the academic achievement of College Track students, ensuring that all students are college-eligible and on-track to succeed in college. Working under the direction of the Site Director, this individual will have direct accountability for meeting the organization’s bottom line goals in the following areas: academic readiness, GPA, college eligibility, attendance, and student retention. Additionally, this position will be responsible for managing the Academic Affairs budget, establishing an efficient and empowering work environment, partnering with school staff to best serve students, and managing a part-time staff tutors, workshop leaders, and advisors.  Experience interacting effectively with all levels of an organization is important.

Site Director - Aurora, CO
The Site Director is responsible for the overall outcomes of the College Track Center. Functioning as the principal of our college-access after-school program in Colorado, this non-profit education reform leader will be responsible for the high academic performance and holistic development of students, ensuring that students in the program attend and graduate from college.  Working under the leadership of the Chief Executive Officer and Vice President of Programs, this individual will have direct accountability for meeting the organization’s bottom line goals in the following areas: Enrollment and Attendance, Retention, Academic Readiness, College Eligibility, Financial Readiness and College Graduation. Additionally, the Site Director will be responsible for establishing an efficient and empowered work environment, managing the site budget, and recruiting and managing a staff of 5 full-time employees and 50+ part-time employees (paid and volunteer). Experience interacting effectively with all levels of an organization is important.

Academic Resource Specialist - East Palo Alto, CA
The Academic Resource Specialist is responsible for ensuring that every student graduates from high school eligible to attend and prepared to succeed in his/her college of choice. Working in collaboration with the site team, this individual ensures that the curriculum and resources provided to students address their individual learning needs, while validating diverse cultures and contributing to positive academic behaviors.

The Academic Resource Specialist will report to the Academic Affairs Director. S/he will work to ensure that students with low skill levels are receiving the help they need to close their own skill gaps and be eligible and ready for college. The ARS will take ownership over this subset of students, tracking and monitoring their progress towards closing these gaps through their individualized learning plans. Additionally, s/he will have direct accountability for meeting the organization’s bottom line goals in the following areas: attendance, retention, academic readiness, college eligibility, GPA and eligibility without remediation.

Operations Manager - East Palo Alto, CA

Reporting to the Site Director, the Operations Manager will support the Academic Affairs, Student Life, College Affairs and College Success programs at the center.  The Operations Manager will coordinate personnel actions for site staff, monitor data and generate necessary reports, manage the appearance and maintenance of the building, coordinate student transportation and logistics (including some driving), and engage parents and community members.  Additionally, the Operations Manager will participate in and/or support program activities and have direct accountability for meeting the organization’s bottom line goals in areas of attendance, retention and enrollment.

Student Life Director - Oakland, CA

The Student Life Director is responsible for the vision and implementation of the Student Life program at College Track-Oakland; ensuring that all students gain leadership skills, have access to experiential learning and engage in service learning. Working under the direction of the Site Director, this individual will have direct accountability for meeting the organization’s bottom line goals, managing the Student Life budget, working collaboratively with Site Team and managing a staff of part-time employees (paid and volunteer).

Chief Operating Officer - Oakland, CA

Since 1997, College Track has been empowering students to be the first in their family to achieve their dream of a college degree. College Track aims to increase high school graduation, enrollment, and college graduation rates among students from low-income communities. College Track is not only changing the lives of their students, they are also touching families and transforming communities. College Track creates a culture where college is no longer an exception, but the expectation. They work intensively with students for 8-10 years, from the summer before 9th grade through college graduation. College Track is currently in six cities across the country; in the next five years, they will double the number of students served and triple the number of college graduates, maximizing their impact as the premier college completion program in the nation.

Director of Program Development - Oakland, CA
The Director of Program Development is responsible for managing high-level projects, partnerships, and organizational knowledge.  Working in collaboration with national and site staff, this individual will lead important initiatives and create organizational infrastructure necessary to attain College Track’s Bottom Line Goals.

The Director of Program Development will report to the Vice President of Programs. S/he will manage important projects, partnerships and trainings that lead to increased support and results for CT sites.  Additionally, this individual will create tools and processes to support important site needs such as volunteer recruitment and training, and create systems for maintaining organizational knowledge such as a program “playbook.”

Vice President of Development - Oakland, CA
College Track has ambitious goals for continued and increased success, and they are currently seeking a Vice President of Development who will work with a dynamic CEO and a prominent and committed Board of Directors to shape the strategic direction of the organization. This person will lead College Track's fundraising efforts including individual donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship, institutional grant seeking, event management, and donor communications. As the organization grows, the VP of Development will expand and deepen government, institutional, corporate, and individual donor connections, enabling College Track to achieve its aggressive development target.

College Affairs Program Manager - San Francisco, CA
The College Affairs Manager will manage the elements of the College Affairs Program that pertain to our rising 9th through 11th grade students, which are designed to prepare College Track students for success in college admissions, financial readiness, and college completion.

Outreach Coordinator - San Francisco
The Outreach Coordinator will provide community outreach and program support for the growth and development of College Track San Francisco, planning and implementing programs that promote and increase awareness of College Track throughout the city of San Francisco. This role requires a creative, social and self-motivated individual.
