The College Success Program keeps
College Track connected with every student we've sent to college and
helps ensure that each student will graduate within four to six years.
There are four main components to the program:
Facilitating the transition from high school to college: To help seniors transition into the college mindset
and environment, College Track provides workshops that prepare our students for the cultural
adjustment to college. In the spring of
their senior year, we help students with financial planning, finding affordable
housing, and locating advising resources on their college campuses.
Keeping our college
students engaged: We engage with our college students by visiting them on
their college campuses, providing individualized academic advising and course
planning services, and connecting students with the resources available on
their college campuses.Additionally,
the College Success Director monitors students’ academic advancement in college
while managing and allocating the scholarship resources that the students
earned through their participation in College Track.
Networking with
colleges nationwide: College Track builds relationships with admissions directors and
outreach personnel at colleges and universities nationwide to not only help us ensure that
our students are well informed about the admissions requirements to different
types of universities, but also to identify individuals who are interested in supporting College Track students and who can address their particular needs.
Sponsoring the
Alumni Association: The College Track Alumni Association enables our alumni
to interact with each other through annual reunion events, workshops, and
online social networking tools. Click here to learn more about the Alumni Association.
