Volunteer

We are always looking for excellent tutors, internship opportunities for our students, and college advisors for our high school seniors.

College Track has both one-time and on-going volunteer opportunities:

  • Academic Tutors: generally commit to volunteering at least one day a week between the hours of 4 and 7 pm. Tutors coach students in math, English, and other core subjects.
  • College Advisors: We are looking for positive, affirming advisors to help guide students during the exciting and sometimes arduous college application experience. College advisors work one on one with a student throughout their college application process. Advisors typically commit to working with their student for 4-6 hours per week from October through January.
  • Career Opportunity Host: We are always looking to introduce our students to new careers. Whether you can host one student or a group, host a tour or an ongoing internship, we would love to hear from you.
  • Career Talk Series Presenter: It is important for our students to learn all of the different paths to and opportunities in a diverse group of fields. College Track is always looking for professionals in a variety of industries interested in presenting to a small group of students.
  • Community Service Host: If you work for a non-profit that can use the help of some dedicated teenagers, apply to be a community service host. We are always looking for opportunities for our students to give back to their community.
  • College Success Mentor: This is a two-year commitment involving weekly emails and monthly in person meetings. A comprehensive training is required.
